Coon Rapids Farmers Market

Thank you for coming to the Coon Rapids Farmer's Market on the 19th. It was strange weather but a great turn out. Congratulations to Diane as the winner of our Crest White Strips Give-Away! She was excited to start whitening.

We will be there again on September 20th from 3 to 6 pm for Senior's Day at the Coon Rapids Farmer's Market located in the ice arena parking lot on Coon Rapids Blvd and Crooked Lake Blvd (by Arby's). Our hope is that all seniors can keep their teeth for a lifetime. In situations where replacements are necessary, we can discuss crowns, bridges, partials dentures and implants. Our patients love it when they can eat and smile with ease again. Stop by and say hello and see what you can learn about replacement teeth options.

Dry mouth affects many people on medications. The senior population is hit hard with this problem as so many people are taking medicine with this side effect.

Caring for the senior population includes patience, effective communication and quick appointments. We know that older patients may not move or talk very fast. They may need a little more time to get comfortable and get in and out of the chair. We also know that if we can make the most of each appointment, it is easier for them to get the most efficient appointment they can. We listen very hard to understand their needs about how things should look and feel. We work as a team, with the patient, to get the treatment done right.

As we approach the middle/end of summer, consider getting the kids in for dental appointments before school starts. I hate to say it, but the advertising for "Back to School" is our there. Start the school year right with cleanings, exams, sport guards, speech screenings and any other treatment needs they have.

Continue to have a fantastic summer. Play safe and have fun!
