The Doctor

Dr. Katherine Bolterman grew up in Roseville, MN. She attended the University of Minnesota Duluth and earned her DDS degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She has a very caring and personable style which makes the dental experience fun and enjoyable.

Dr. Bolterman promotes good oral health for people of all ages. She has volunteered time to offer free consultations for residents of a local senior housing complex and has volunteered with Give Kids a Smile Day during dental health month.

Katie lives with her husband, Matt, two young children and their dog, Barney. She enjoys cooking and entertaining, movies, piano/music and many sports.


Our staff

Business Manager

Celeste has been with the practice for over 26 years and helps patients to feel comfortable with their dental treatment as a former assistant, current business manager and treatment coordinator.  She is wonderful with customer service and takes the time to listen and understand you.  Celeste loves cats and enjoys gardening, music and theater.

Front Desk

Leslie and Roseanne have been in the dental profession for over 35 years, combined.  Their knowledge of dental procedures and insurance coverage will help you feel confident in your treatment plan.  They are willing to do what they can to make sure you understand the treatment you need, organize the appointments and make any financial arrangements possible.  Leslie and Roseanne are ready to welcome you with a warm and friendly attitude. 

Hygienists

Sonya and Sara are the experts in soft tissue management.  Together with the Doctor, they will assess and work to manage your gums, bone health and rid of any gum infection.  They are great at personalizing your treatment and updating you on current ways to protect and enhance your oral health.  Both Sonya and Sara regularly attend courses and keep up on the dental literature to help you.  They maintain a light and friendly atmosphere while being gentle and thorough in their treatment, which allows for a pleasant experience.  For those patients that still need some additional help, they are certified in Nitrous Oxide use for your visit.

Assistants

Chris and Kara share this position to assist Dr. Bolterman.  They are both very well educated in the procedures and materials.  Their long term dental experience helps them to be able to answer your questions and help you feel at ease.  They understand how difficult it may be for patients to be in the dental chair and are there for you.  If you have a gag reflex, claustrophobia, can't lay back far or any other special needs, let them know so they can help.
